Although very old and probably outdated for years now, it still very much is valid.
You Only Live Once.
No matter how cliché or cringe you think this sounds, it’s the truth.
And by trying to avoid this truth, you essentially avoid living your life.
To anyone’s surprise, I still say it.
Whenever my family or friends wants to do something but struggles to get going, I use the infamous words, “You only live once” and we do it.
Because we do, every single one of us.
We do only live one time.
There’s no need to avoid it because it will be the case anyway.
So next time you’re thinking of going on that trip, YOLO.
Next time you’re thinking of postponing that meeting with your parents – don’t, YOLO.
Because just like you, they only live once – and sadly their time will in most cases expire way before yours does.
The next time you’re thinking of not doing something because it’s too late, it’s not – YOLO.
Repeat after me, YOLO.
You only live once so be sure to actually live.
