Always give 100%

You know you’re at your top level of performance when you commit 100% each and every day.

This applies to all areas of life.

Some people say we can’t perform at 100% each day but I disagree.

I know for a fact that we can indeed perform at 100% every day.

It’s just that 100% can look very different from day to day.

Sometimes we sleep worse and naturally get tired during the day which means we won’t have as much energy as some other days.

But we can still use that energy to 100%.

We can squeeze it until it’s fully drained.

It might be gone a lot quicker because there’s a smaller amount of it on some days, but we can still use 100% of it.

We all will have days where we don’t get very much done.

Where our energy is drained quicker.

Those are the times where we just want to give up.

But those are the times where we instead need to push even harder.

I’m a stronger believer that, to fully enjoy life, our jobs can’t be our absolute main focal point.

Money can’t be either.

But that does not mean we don’t give it a 100%.

It just means we don’t give it as much energy and focus of our time, and when we do work, we use that full 100% which we gave it.

A 100% might be less than previously but it can still be a 100%.

Think of it this way. [BILD SOM FÖRKLARAR]

Your time and energy level for an entire day is the form of a pizza.

Each slice of that pizza resembles what you spent that energy and time on.

For instance, if we usually give our job around 80% of the pizza, say 8 slices out of 10, we use those 8 slices fully.

We use a 100% of them for work.

So, if we instead were to cut energy and time from our job, say 50% or 5 slices, we get less of it to utilize but we can still use 100% of what we’ve assigned to it.

Not 100% of the pizza but a 100% of the slices, 100% of the energy and time we assigned to work-related activities.

What I’m trying to say is that we can give our job less attention, but it does not mean we should perform worse.

We can and should always give our best, 100%, even if that 100% could be different.

It can look very similar our daily lives.

We can assign energy and time to different things, different slices.

But we can always utilize 100% of those slices.

And like I said, some days we have less energy to use, but we can still use 100% of what we’ve got.

Whatever your goals in life are, you are reading this for a reason.

Just know that you are able to make incredible things happen.

You are able to fully live the way you want.

But it requires 100% of your commitment to achieve it.

The next time you skip or postpone something because you’re too tired I won’t blame you, but you should know you’ll only have yourself to blame later.

The next time you skip something because you’re not feeling like doing it, you’re not utilizing 100% of that slice.

The next time you choose the comfortable couch over the uncomfortable gym, you’re not using that slice to its fullest potentials.

You could easily but you don’t.

And when making that decision, know that you risk missing out on everything you’re fighting for.

-Health.

-Finance.

-Relationships.

-Happiness.

Whatever it is, you risk having to live the rest of your life like you already are if you don’t do something about it while you can.

Make the uncomfortable choices now so that you can make the rest of your life a comfortable one.

Use 100% of your slices.
